Montverde Academy will host the 7th Annual Celebrating Education event on Saturday, May 1, 2010 in the McQuaig Gymnasium on the Montverde Academy campus. This year's Kentucky Derby themed gala is destined to be another spectacular night at one of South Lake County's most anticipated events.
Come enjoy the most exciting two minutes in sports! The Kentucky Derby will be televised live throughout the venue which includes a spectacular buffet, gaming tables, cocktails, dancing, silent and live auctions; and a blackjack tournament. All the proceeds will go to support educational programs and other important school initiatives.
March 30, 2010 marks the kickoff of the 2nd Annual Celebrating Education Online Auction. This year we are offering a larger variety of auction items so that we have something for everyone.
The incredibly popular Dorm Room Makeovers will be available again! The winner of the Dorm Room Makeover will be able to choose their roommate and custom design the room. Your child can host a fabulous private party in the Student Center or at the Lake Front Beach. Among the other items is a Stunning Artistic Photography Package by Paris Carter or tickets to a thrilling Orlando Magic Basketball Game. There is also a chance to bid on a fun and friend filled day trip to one of Florida's beautiful beaches or a breathtaking seaplane ride.
This event is aimed at providing our students and parents the opportunity to get involved in Celebrating Education, obtain some fabulous prizes and support the school community. The auction will run from March 30, 2010 - April 22, 2010. Keep your eyes open for additional details about this event.
